Vega Core vs Vega Pro

Which plan is right for you and your team

No two advisors use Vega the same way.

For some, the biggest win is getting hours back every week: walking into every meeting prepared, never writing meeting notes from scratch again, and opening their inbox to replies that are already drafted.

Others want Vega to go further. They want it to create client-ready documents, review client communications for compliance, and show them patterns across every conversation happening at their firm.

That is why Vega comes in two subscription plans:

  • Vega Core: handles the work around your everyday client conversations. Preparing for them, capturing them, following up, drafting emails, and keeping your CRM current.

  • Vega Pro: builds on all of that context. Creating client-ready work, maintaining richer client context over time, reviewing communications for compliance, and analyzing the conversations themselves.

Vega Pro includes everything in Vega Core. Same Vega, with another layer when you need it.

Monthly plan

$50/seat

$100/seat

Annual plan

$500/year

$1,000/seat

Annual billing gives you the equivalent of two months free on both plans.

A Vega Core seat billed annually comes to about $42 per month, while a Vega Pro seat billed annually comes to about $83 per month.

Seats are assigned individually, so you do not need to have your entire firm on Vega Core or Vega Pro.

Vega Core

Vega Core is built around the work that fills an advisor's week: meetings, emails, CRM updates, and the constant need to find information about a client quickly.

The Vega chat

As your client base grows, so does the information tied to each relationship. Meetings, emails, notes, tasks, financial details, and past decisions end up spread across your CRM, your inbox, and your meeting notes.

With the Vega chat, you just ask. For example:

  • "What did the Johnsons say about their retirement timeline in our last meeting?"

  • "Summarize every open item for Tom Everson."

Vega's AI agents gather the relevant context from your connected systems first, then answer. That means responses grounded in your actual client records, not generic AI knowledge.

You can choose a reasoning mode depending on how much thinking a request needs, and you can press and hold the space bar to speak to Vega instead of typing, from anywhere in the platform.

Meeting recording and transcription

Vega records and transcribes your client meetings, whether they happen on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, in person, or over the phone. That transcript becomes the foundation for everything Vega does after the meeting.

Pre-meeting preparation sheets

Preparing for a client meeting usually means digging through CRM notes, past emails, prior meeting notes, and task lists.

This is where Vega steps in. Before each meeting, Vega assembles that context into a structured preparation sheet so you can get your head back into the relationship in minutes. It typically includes:

  • relevant contact and household context

  • recent emails and interactions

  • open tasks and follow-ups

  • prior meeting notes

  • agenda or focus areas

Post-meeting summary notes and suggestions

Vega's post-meeting summary notes are designed to become the primary record of the meeting. They follow the template of each meeting type, so a discovery meeting and an annual review are written exactly the way your firm wants them.

Post-meeting work often takes far longer than it should. So as soon as the meeting ends, Vega also prepares:

  • tasks (and workflows)

  • contact updates

  • a follow-up email draft

You stay in control: you review, edit if needed, and sync to your CRM with one click. Your CRM remains the source of truth.

Automatic email drafts

Depending on complexity, a single client email can take anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes to answer thoughtfully.

When a client or prospect emails you, Vega decides whether a response is needed, drafts one using your relationship history, and places it directly in your Outlook or Gmail drafts folder. Vega adapts to how you write with each specific contact, because the way you write to a new prospect isn't the way you write to a client you've known for ten years.

Vega prepares the response. You decide what gets sent.

Vega in Outlook and Gmail

Bring Vega into the inbox you already use. Without leaving your email, you can summarize long threads, draft replies, chat with your client data, and turn emails into CRM notes and tasks.

Integrations and the Knowledge Center

Every Vega Core seat includes all of your CRM, calendar, email, meeting, scheduling, and workflow integrations, along with the Knowledge Center, where your firm adds the information it wants Vega to know.

Vega Pro

Vega Pro includes everything in Vega Core, plus the capabilities below.

These are Vega's most advanced capabilities. They also require significantly more computing power to deliver (the so-called "AI tokens"), which is why they are part of a separate plan.

Client deliverables

Many advisors have started using tools like ChatGPT and Claude to draft client-facing documents. But generating text is only one small part of creating a professional deliverable. You also need accurate client data, consistent branding, repeatable templates, compliance oversight, and version history.

General-purpose AI tools weren't built for that. Vega's Client deliverables were.

Create polished, client-ready documents using the information already inside Vega and your firm's branding, such as:

  • meeting recaps

  • financial planning analyses

  • estate and tax planning reviews

  • investment proposals

  • your own custom deliverables

You can review a deliverable section by section, inspect the sources Vega used, make changes through the Vega chat, run a compliance review, and then present it directly from Vega or export it to PDF or Word.

Meeting analytics

What matters in a meeting is not only what was discussed, but how the conversation was conducted.

Meeting analytics goes beyond the meeting notes. From the Analytics tab of any meeting, you can review:

  • a meeting score from 0 to 100 and a written assessment

  • discussion topics and how much time each one took

  • speaker participation

  • questions and unexplained jargon

  • emotional cues and signals

  • action items and restatements

  • coaching evidence linked back to the exact moment in the transcript

Book signals

Reading meetings one at a time only tells you so much.

Book signals take what Meeting analytics finds inside each individual conversation and roll it up across your whole firm, so you can see patterns instead. You'll find it in the Meetings section of the Reports page.

Set a date range, report on all users or a single advisor, and narrow to specific meeting types. From there, Vega shows you:

  • how many meetings were analyzed, the average meeting score, and how many high-priority signals came out of them

  • meeting score over time, with a separate line for each meeting owner

  • a meeting owner table you can sort by volume, average score, or high signals

  • discussion topics, ranked by how much of the conversation they actually took up

  • signals grouped by type, such as asset opportunities, service risks, referral opportunities, relationship risks, and decision blockers

Signals are usually the first place teams look. Each one is graded high, medium, or low priority, and opening a signal takes you to the exact moment in the transcript where it came up. You always get the context behind the number.

Living story & client enrichment

Advisors rarely lose client information because it was never captured. They lose it because it was captured in fifty different places: a transcript from eight months ago, an email thread, a note nobody re-reads.

The living story is a concise, continuously updated narrative of who a client is and where the relationship stands, shared by your whole team. Client enrichment keeps it current by using meaningful information from meetings, emails, notes, and tasks.

You don't maintain it. It maintains itself. And because the living story feeds meeting preparation, the Vega chat, email drafts, and Client deliverables, everything else Vega produces gets better too.

Compliance reviews

Historically, reviewing client communications for compliance has been a very manual process for RIAs. And client meetings, where advice actually gets given, almost never get reviewed at all.

Vega reviews client communications against SEC guidelines. It goes beyond keywords: instead of flagging every mention of "guaranteed" or "return," Vega looks at how the term was actually used and the conversation around it. This covers:

  • Email compliance reviews: client-facing emails reviewed in the context of the full email thread.

  • Meeting compliance reviews: meetings reviewed using the full transcript rather than only the meeting notes, so the offhand remark a compliance team needs to see isn't lost.

Each review receives a risk level from None to Critical, along with a summary, Vega's analysis, and a recommended action.

High and Critical findings are re-checked before an alert is generated, and firms can designate compliance contacts to receive those email alerts. From the Compliance tab of the Reports page, your team can review findings across the firm and mark them as Open, Addressed, or Dismissed.

File generation

Sometimes you don't need to review and refine a document. You just need the file.

With File generation, you can ask the Vega chat to create a finished file and get it back directly in the conversation: a PDF, Word document, PowerPoint presentation, or Excel workbook, generated using the information available in Vega.

File generation vs Client deliverables

Client deliverables are designed to be reviewed and refined inside Vega before being shared with a client. File generation is for the moments when you simply want Vega to create the finished file for you.

Mixing Vega Core and Vega Pro at your firm

You don't need to have your entire firm on Vega Core or Vega Pro.

Seats are assigned individually, and each user has either a Vega Core seat or a Vega Pro seat. For example, lead advisors who create Client deliverables could be on Vega Pro, while associates and operations team members stay on Vega Core.

Good to know

During your free trial, everyone at your firm has full access to Vega Pro. It's the best way to see which plan fits each person on your team, using your own clients, meetings, and emails.

How to add Vega Pro

Only users with Admin permissions can manage the firm’s subscription and assign Vega Pro seats.

  1. Open the Admin page in Vega.

  2. Under Subscription, choose how many Vega Core and Vega Pro seats your firm needs and assign them to the appropriate users.

  3. Complete checkout through Stripe, our billing partner.

If you don’t have Admin permissions, ask a user with Admin permissions at your firm to upgrade your seat to Vega Pro.

A practical way to think about it

Vega Core = the work around your client conversations

Vega Pro = client-ready work, richer client context, compliance oversight, and insight into the conversations themselves

If your day is mostly meetings, follow-ups, and client emails, Vega Core has you covered. If you want Vega to also create client deliverables, review your communications, and surface signals across your book, Vega Pro is built for you.
