Record phone calls

Client conversations do not only happen in scheduled Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams meetings.

They also happen over the phone.

A client may call with a question. An advisor may follow up after a planning meeting. A service issue may be resolved over a quick phone call. A prospect may call before officially becoming a client.

These conversations often contain important information:

  • next steps

  • client concerns

  • planning details

  • personal updates

  • service requests

  • follow-up items

  • CRM-worthy notes

If those details are not captured, they can easily stay trapped in memory, voicemail, or scattered manual notes.

Vega’s phone integrations help close that gap.

When your phone system is connected to Vega and the call is recorded or transcribed properly, Vega can automatically process the call and generate a post-call analysis. This includes post-call summary notes, follow-up email drafts, tasks, CRM update suggestions, and richer client knowledge for future workflows.

Below is how this works today across RingCentral, Zoom Phone, and Microsoft Teams Phone.

More phone system integrations

Today, Vega integrates with RingCentral, Zoom Phone, and Teams Phone.

If your firm uses a different VoIP or phone system, please reach out to us. We are always evaluating additional integrations based on advisor demand.

We also know some advisors still use regular cell phone calls rather than VoIP systems. We are exploring ways to support this more directly, but we are being careful around compliance, security, and client experience.

In particular, we want to avoid turning phone calls into conference rooms with third-party bots whenever possible.

For now, if you need to capture a phone call and you have your laptop nearby, one practical workaround is to place the call on speaker and record it through the Vega web platform. This is not as seamless as a direct phone system integration, but it works when you need to capture an important conversation.

A practical way to think about it

Virtual meeting integrations help Vega capture scheduled online meetings.

In-person recording helps Vega capture meetings that happen face-to-face.

Phone call integrations help Vega capture the conversations that happen between everything else.

Together, these workflows help build a more complete picture of each client relationship, across meetings, emails, calls, notes, tasks, and CRM data.
