Vega integrates with RingCentral so recorded client calls can be automatically retrieved, processed, and turned into post-call analysis.
How to connect RingCentral to Vega
Go to the Integrations page in Vega.
Find RingCentral.
Click Connect.
Follow the RingCentral authorization flow.
Once connected, Vega will be able to process RingCentral calls for users who have connected their RingCentral account and granted the required permissions.
Important requirements
To use the RingCentral integration:
you must be an active RingCentral user
you must have recording permissions in RingCentral
calls must be recorded manually or through RingCentral auto-recording
Vega only accesses calls from users who have connected their RingCentral account and explicitly granted permissions.
How to record a RingCentral call
During a live RingCentral call:
Click Record.
To pause or stop the recording, you can:
Click Stop recording
Ending the call will also stop the recording automatically.
Here's RingCentral tutorial on how to record calls.
What happens after the call
When the call ends and the recording is available, Vega receives a secure notification from RingCentral.
Vega then retrieves and processes the recording, generates a transcript, and prepares a post-call analysis.
Once processed, the call can be linked to contacts when possible, and Vega can help generate notes, action items, and other outputs from the conversation.
Benefits from the RingCentral <> Vega integration
Once connected, Vega will:
Monitor calls made through RingCentral (both inbound and outbound)
Automatically fetch and process call recordings
Generate transcripts and summarize key takeaways from phone conversations
Link calls to contacts when possible
