Over time, family circumstances change, assets move, laws evolve, and documents become outdated. Yet many clients assume their estate plan is still doing exactly what they intended years ago.
An "Estate planning review" deliverable helps bring everything together into one clear, client-friendly document. Instead of reviewing wills, trusts, beneficiary designations, powers of attorney, and ownership structures separately, clients can see how all the pieces fit together.
It also helps identify areas that may need attention, such as missing documents, outdated fiduciary appointments, beneficiary inconsistencies, potential tax exposure, or planning decisions.
How to create an "Estate planning review" deliverable
From your Vega home page, select "Create deliverable."
And next:
When the Generate deliverable card opens, select the "Estate planning review" deliverable template.
Add any additional instructions or supporting documents if needed.
Click Generate deliverable.
Alternatively, if you had a meeting focused on estate planning, you can explicitly point at it to make it one of your main inputs into the analysis. As Selah shows in her demo video here, you can navigate to the meeting page and open the Sidebar AI assistant. The AI will automatically understands the context of the page you are viewing, and you'll always be able to add extra supporting context by attaching files or pointing Vega to different notes and conversations using the Additional instructions field.
Review before sharing
Before sharing the "Estate planning review" deliverable with your client, you can:
edit any section manually
ask Vega to rewrite or expand specific sections
explore different scenarios (see Selah's scenario demonstration here)
review supporting sources
run a compliance review (see below)
export it as a branded PDF or Word document
Compliance review
We build Vega exclusively for independent financial advisors. That focus allows us to develop the actual tools you need around Vega's core features that generic AI tools simply can't offer. For example, every Client deliverable includes an automated compliance review.
Vega’s compliance review runs automatically for you in the background when your deliverable is created. Our AI evaluates the document against SEC guidelines and assigns a compliance risk level while highlighting potential issues for you to review.
This functionality gives you an early indication of whether your document is on the right track or whether there are potential compliance concerns worth addressing before you invest more time. Overall, it helps you review client-facing documents more consistently and with greater confidence before sharing them with clients.
