Vega can do a significant amount of the work involved in creating a Client deliverable, from gathering client context and reviewing supporting documents to generating the actual sections, tables, charts, and observations.
But before a client-facing document goes out, you still need to review it.
Depending on the deliverable, that may mean checking:
figures and calculations presented in the document
client information
planning observations
tables and charts
sources
action items
scenarios
wording and presentation
Until now, you could make all of those edits and reviews in Vega, but there wasn’t a simple way to keep track of which sections you had already finished reviewing.
That’s what Verified sections are designed to solve.
How Verified sections work
Each editable section of a Client deliverable now includes a Verified toggle.
When Vega first generates the deliverable, sections start as Not verified.
As you review each section, you can make whatever changes you need. Once you’re satisfied with the section, click Not verified to mark it as Verified.
At the top of the deliverable, Vega keeps track of how many sections you’ve verified.
For example, if your deliverable contains eight editable sections and you’ve reviewed three of them, Vega will show:
3/8 verified
You can then continue working through the document until every section has been reviewed.
Once all editable sections are marked as Verified, the progress indicator shows that the entire deliverable has been verified and is ready for your next step.
Review, edit, then verify
The important thing to remember is that Verified isn’t replacing your review process. It gives that process structure.
You can still use all of Vega’s editing functionality while working through the document.
Modify a section with chat
You can ask the Vega chat to make changes for you.
This is useful when the change affects a larger section or is easier to explain than to edit manually.
For example:
“Shorten the executive summary.”
“Rewrite this section in simpler language.”
“Add more detail about the Roth conversion discussion.”
“Turn this paragraph into a short list of next steps.”
“Make the tone more client-friendly.”
You can describe the result you want, and Vega will revise the relevant content.
This is especially helpful when you want to restructure or rewrite a section without starting over.
Edit manually
You can edit the content directly at different levels.
Depending on what you want to change, you can:
edit a block
edit a card
edit the text
edit badges
adjust labels
Manual editing works well when you already know the exact change you want to make.
For example, you may want to correct a name, replace a sentence, update a figure, or remove an internal note before sharing the document.
Review scenarios
If your deliverable includes multiple scenarios, review those before verifying the section as well.
You can review each scenario, move between them, remove one, or add another when appropriate.
Once the scenarios reflect what you want to present to the client, you can mark that section as Verified too.
Don't forget the sources
As you review a section, you can also open its sources to see the information Vega relied on when generating it.
This is especially helpful when you’re reviewing figures, client details, or planning observations and want to quickly trace something back to the underlying information.
The workflow becomes:
Review the section → Check the sources when needed → Make your edits → Verify
Then move on to the next section.
Track your progress across the deliverable
For longer deliverables, one of the main benefits of this functionality is simply knowing where you stand.
You don’t need to remember whether you already reviewed the Cash flow snapshot, went through the Accounts and withdrawals section, or finished checking your scenarios.
The verification indicator keeps track of that for you.
If the deliverable has eight editable sections, you can work through them one by one:
1/8 verified → 2/8 verified → 3/8 verified → … → 8/8 verified
Once every editable section has been verified, Vega shows that the entire deliverable has been reviewed.
At that point, you can move forward with presenting or exporting the deliverable.
A practical way to think about it
Vega’s job is to help you get from client information to a polished Client deliverable as efficiently as possible.
Your job is still to make sure the final document says exactly what you want it to say before it reaches your client.
Verified sections give you a simple checklist built directly into that workflow.
For each section:
Review it.
Check the underlying sources when needed.
Make any edits.
Mark it as Verified.
Then move on.
By the time the entire deliverable shows as Verified, you know you’ve worked through every editable section rather than relying on one final skim of the document.
