The Meetings tab controls what Vega does around your calendar: when it prepares you for a meeting, whether it reminds you, and how the Vega recording bot joins your calls. These settings apply to all of your meetings.
Meeting preparation
Auto meeting preparation: when on, Vega automatically generates a preparation sheet ahead of each meeting on your calendar.
Preparation timing: how far ahead of the meeting the preparation is generated. The options are 4 hours, 8 hours, 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 1 week, 2 weeks and 1 month.
Include internal meetings: by default Vega only prepares client-facing meetings. Turn this on to get preparations for internal meetings too.
Meeting notifications
Auto meeting reminder: sends you an automatic reminder before a meeting, with the essentials and a reminder to record the upcoming meeting.
Meeting bot
The meeting bot is Vega’s notetaker. It joins your virtual meetings as a participant, records and transcribes them, and produces notes afterwards.
Bot name: the name participants see in the attendee list.
Auto join meetings: when on, the bot joins your scheduled virtual meetings automatically. When off, you invite it to a meeting yourself when you want it there.
Turning auto join on is the usual setup for advisors who record most client calls. Turning it off suits anyone who only records selectively.
