Emails

The Emails tab controls how Vega drafts email on your behalf: whether it drafts replies automatically, how those drafts are formatted, who else can see them, and what signature is appended.

Draft email response

When on, Vega automatically drafts a response to incoming client emails, using the context it holds on that client. Drafts are only ever drafts: nothing is sent without you reviewing and sending it.

Formatting

These settings make Vega’s drafts look like the rest of your email instead of standing out.

  • Font family: Arial, Aptos, Calibri, Cambria, Courier New, Georgia, Helvetica, Lucida Console, Roboto, Sans-Serif, Segoe UI, Tahoma, Times New Roman or Trebuchet MS.

  • Font size: 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 12, 14 or 16.

Match whatever your mail client already uses. If you are on Outlook with the defaults, that is usually Aptos or Calibri at 11.

Draft responses

Drafts are private to you unless you share them. This section is where you decide who else sees them.

  • Share drafts with users: the colleagues who can see your drafts.

  • Notify users of drafts: who receives an active email notification when a draft is created. You can only notify people you have already shared with, so this field stays disabled until you have picked at least one user.

  • Share drafts with teams: the same, for whole teams.

  • Notify teams of drafts: the same, for whole teams.

If you remove someone from a share list, they are removed from the matching notify list automatically. You can never notify someone about something they cannot open.

Signature

Your email signature is shown here as it will appear at the bottom of Vega’s drafts. If no signature has been set up yet, the tab says so.

Signatures are added for you rather than edited in the app, so that logos, disclaimers and formatting survive intact. Send the signature you want to [email protected], and it will be added to your account.
