METHOD 1: Using an admin consent link
If you’re a Microsoft 365 administrator, you can approve Vega’s access to your organization’s Microsoft account by granting tenant-wide admin consent. This ensures that all users in your organization can connect to Vega without needing to approve permissions individually. You do not need a Vega account to do so.
Navigate to one of the two links below depending on the access level that you desire to grant. Please make sure to replace <tenant_id> with your organization's tenant ID.
Your tenant ID is typically based on your organization’s domain name (e.g., yourcompany.com), but for accuracy, you can find your exact tenant ID by visiting portal.azure.com, navigating to Microsoft Entra ID, and viewing the overview page.
Step 1. Granting initial access

Step 2. Enable transcript API access
To grant Vega access to Microsoft Teams, your Microsoft administrator also must enable transcript API access in the Microsoft Teams admin center.
1. In the left navigation of the Teams admin center, go to Meetings > Meeting settings.
2. Under Transcript API access, turn the Microsoft Graph access toggle On to allow third-party apps like Vega to access meeting transcripts.
3. Click Configure, then complete the following steps:
Turn the Include speaker attribution toggle On so speaker attribution is included in transcripts accessed through the Microsoft Graph API. By default, this setting is turned off.
In the Microsoft Entra admin center, grant Vega permission to access transcripts.
Navigate to: Enterprise applications → Vega → Permissions
For Microsoft Teams, Vega must have access to the following permissions:
OnlineMeetings.Read → Read user’s online meetings
OnlineMeetingTranscript.Read.All → Read all transcripts of online meetings
OnlineMeetingRecording.Read.All → Read all recordings of online meetings
CallTranscripts.Read.All → Read all transcripts of calls
CallRecordings.Read.All → Read all recordings of calls
Once these permissions have been granted, your Microsoft environment is correctly configured for Microsoft Teams. You can then continue with the setup in the Vega web platform.
Step 3. Connect Microsoft Teams in Vega
1. Go to the Integrations page in Vega.
2. Make sure Microsoft is already connected with a green dot. If not, click Connect under Microsoft to connect it.
3. Once connected, click Manage scopes under Microsoft.
4. A new card will open. Click Enable Microsoft Teams.
After completing these steps, Vega will have the required Microsoft Teams permissions to retrieve meeting transcripts and generate post-meeting analyses.
METHOD 2: Requesting admin consent
Step 1 (by Microsoft admin): Configure admin consent

You must be your firm’s Microsoft Global Administrator to turn on the admin consent workflow.
These steps simplify the process for an administrator to review and approve a request from another Microsoft user to add Vega. Once an administrator grants consent for Vega, subsequent Microsoft users don’t need to request permission again.
1. Access the Microsoft Entra Admin center https://entra.microsoft.com/ as a Global Administrator.
2. Browse to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications > Consent and permissions > Admin consent settings.
3. Select Yes for Users can request admin consent to apps they are unable to consent to.
4. Designate a user, group or role to receive and review requests. If you are unsure, add yourself as a user and you will be the one receiving and approving requests.
Step 2 (by Vega user): Request admin consent
1. Go to the Integrations page in Vega.
2. Make sure Microsoft is already connected with a green dot. If not, click Connect under Microsoft to connect it.
3. Once connected, click Manage scopes under Microsoft.
4. A new card will open. Click Enable Microsoft Teams.
4. This will prompt you to enter a justification and allow you to send a request to your admin.
5. Click Request approval.
6. You will be redirected to the Vega app. Please disregard any temporary error message stating, “Something went wrong.” At this stage, your Microsoft admin will receive an email notification to review the request. Once approved, you can repeat steps 2.1 and 2.2 above to complete the integration.
Step 3 (by Microsoft admin): Approve a request

1. If configured properly, you will receive an email a few minutes after a user requests admin access.
2. Click the Review request button in the email and that will take you directly to the Azure portal.
3. Click on the request for Vega and under Details, click Review permissions and consent. You may be asked to enter your password and then will be prompted to grant permission.
4. Upon approval, the requesting user will be receiving an email confirming that the request has been approved. At this point, the user will be able to add Microsoft with Teams in Vega.
Step 4 (by Microsoft admin). Enable transcript API access
To grant Vega access to Microsoft Teams, your Microsoft administrator also must enable transcript API access in the Microsoft Teams admin center.

Step 5 (by Vega user): Connect Microsoft Teams in Vega
You will receive an email confirming that the admin has approved your request. You are now ready to add Microsoft with Teams in Vega.
1. Go to the Integrations page in Vega.
2. Make sure Microsoft is already connected with a green dot. If not, click Connect under Microsoft to connect it.
3. Once connected, click Manage scopes under Microsoft.
4. A new card will open. Click Enable Microsoft Teams.
5. Now that your admin has approved Vega, you may simply be asked to sign in to your Microsoft account to complete the flow.
6. Vega will start connecting to your Microsoft Teams in the background.
