Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

To grant Vega access to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Integrations page in Vega.

  2. Make sure Microsoft is already connected with a green dot. If not, click Connect under Microsoft to connect it.

  3. Once connected, click Manage scopes under Microsoft.

  4. A new card will open. Click Enable Microsoft Dynamics.

After completing these steps, Vega will have the required permissions to connect to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. If your organization doesn’t use Microsoft Dynamics 365, clicking Enable under Microsoft Dynamics won’t connect anything and no changes will be made to your account.

Linking your Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM with Vega dramatically enhances results for client-related queries in the chat or for background outputs (meeting notes or email response drafts for example). Vega will access details in your Dynamics as well as tasks and notes.

Vega can also create or modify entities. For example, after a meeting, Vega can create notes, and suggest contact changes and new tasks that you will be able to sync to your Dynamics. As another example, as your conversation with a client progresses by email, Vega can identify tasks and status and suggest updates to be synced to Dynamics.

Contact information presented on the Contacts page is view-only for contacts imported from Dynamics. The same goes for tasks imported from Dynamics on the Tasks page. Data synchronization goes one way in these contexts: from Dynamics to Vega. Dynamics should be considered as the source of truth.
