You can install the Vega Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Once installed, Vega will appear in your Chrome extensions. When you open it, it will load directly inside your Gmail interface and appear on the right side of your screen when you are in Gmail.
Note: When installing the Vega Gmail assistant, depending on your Chrome security settings, you may see a message such as: "This extension is not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing." This happens because the Vega Gmail assistant was recently released. New extensions can take a few months before automatically bypassing this Enhanced Safe Browsing dialog. The Vega Gmail assistant was reviewed and approved by Google and meets all required security standards. You can refer to Google's official explanation for more details here.
Keyboard shortcut in Gmail
When using the Chrome extension, the fastest way to interact with Vega is through a keyboard shortcut. By default, when you install the Vega Gmail assistant, the shortcut to open and close it is:
Alt + V (Windows)
Option + V (Mac)
This allows you to quickly open or close the assistant without interrupting your workflow.
